History

Dunco Apparatebau GmbH & Co. KG is a traditional, Berlin based, family business founded in 1953. Until the end of 2008 the company was named „Schüler Grundstücks GmbH“ with Egon Schüler as the owner. In January 2009 Werner Lichy became managing director. He integrated the Schüler Grundstücks GmbH into the Werner Lichy group, which has been part of the Dunco family business since 1982.

DUNCO Apparatebau is organized into two main divisions: Dunco Apparatebau and Dunco Prüfservice. As the production division, Dunco Apparatebau specialises in the production of enlarging easels, enlargers, desktop studios for image capturing, as well as custom manufacturing for private customers and the professional sector. With the division DUNCO Prüfservice we have specialised in the inspection of production facilities and equipment, as well as the inspection of shelves, ladders, and steps. We mainly conduct inspections in Berlin and Brandenburg, although we do carry out inspections across Germany if our clients require us to.
